Carson Leong is a self taught photographer with a passion for outdoor culture.
It all began with his first volcano marathon in 2015, when he hiked up 4 volcanoes in 8 days in Indonesia, including its second highest volcano Gunung Rinjani at 3,726 m in elevation. Completely humbled by the experience, he began to document his hiking adventures and visualise them in the form of photography.
His Hiking Journal is a documentation of the different excursions he has been on, with a focus on landscape and adventure photography. The series aim to create epic visuals that hope to capture the essence of being outside and to inspire others to venture out to explore their own kind of adventures.
When he is not out shooting, he works as a product design consultant in London. His design work can be seen here.
For any other enquiries, feel free to say hello, he is always up for a hike, coffee and potential collaborations.
Hike as many trails in the world as possible!
